Yana and her Babies

March 14th, 2023

"Vratsa! Thrown away in advanced pregnancy in the suburbs. You can see the leash marks.  She was so hungry that she almost choked trying to swallow the bread whole. I can't take her in, and probably no one else will." - signal from the social networks on the 14th of March. I start searching for her every day when I have a little spare time from taking care for the others at the shelter.

After two weeks of searching, I finally found her and four of her babies! Rescued!

March 29th, 2023

Yana and her four puppies are saved. She has a lump above her left eye, must have taken a stone on the head. She's infested with ticks, the doctors said it's safe to give her Moxiclear and I'm working on getting her cleaned.

She doesn't have a lot of milk, because she must have gone hungry for most of the time. I bought some cans of German food, but they're expensive, we'll be really grateful if someone can send more because the babies are born around the 17th and they need their mom's milk. I need to feed her so she can take care of them. I hope someone can lend a hand...
