I am crushed by the cruelty of people. I named him Dante, because he lives in Hell. And I don't mean Dante's Inferno, but a hell made by humans.
Dante was cruelly beaten, kicked in the stomach and with a broken skull, fractured jaw, he cannot eat or drink water. He is doomed to a slow and painful death from thirst and hunger.
His eye has slipped out and is rotting, identical case as Benji from three days ago. The eye needs to be removed and the jaw needs to be operated, he needs to be on antibiotics and IV.
Dr Nikolov is coming tomorrow for Shailo and Bella's surgeries, who are recovering well, and he will do what he can for Dante. The case is urgent, because he has lost much of his weight already, due to not being able to eat.
If anyone wants to help Dante, please use the Foundation's bank account. Eye surgery will be 400 leva (200 EUR). Examination, blood and 4D tests, X-ray, biochemistry from today - 190 lv (95 EUR). I will know more about the broken jaw after Dr Nikolov has seen him.

Dante is still in a critical condition, I'm doing everything I can but he refuses to eat. We're trying to stabilize him with antibiotics and transfusions, that's all that's keeping him alive. He can't be operated at this stage.
The eye and the nose are still streaming pus, we're struggling to contain the infection.
March 27th, 2025
Two weeks of fighting to stabilize Dante, day after day, every morning I was hoping to find him alive. And he survived! The Jack Russel in him helped him push through I think, he's a very stubborn little dog.
His surgery was yesterday and he's recovering. The shelter looks more and more like a battlefield infirmary. Every day I need to respond to signals about abused dogs. And every day I'm in the clinic. The bills are racking up. Please help our foundation so we can continue our mission.

Dante, a little Jack Russel, with the courage of a lion.
He barely made it, pus was dripping from the nose, the mouth, the eye. Two weeks on the edge between life and death, he tried to eat me every time I gave him the IV and antibiotics. The pain he felt was indescribable. Today he loves me... He only has one eye, but it's like an eagle. And he's looking for a home!
